AVI format help needed

Hello!
I have some AVI files(xvid codec)...they are legal tutorials...i wanna burn them on a DVD so tht it can play on any of the DVD players available in INDIAN market...can any kind soul please suggest a GOOD DVD player which supports AVI format?

I think you can burn them to nero and it automactically converts to dat file. Then you can play that in GOOD DVD player.

nowadays most of the dvd players available in the market support
DIVX ..yes check for divx support..
also u can simply make a data dvd and try running on the player ..
there is a possibility that yr new player support this..
i ve tried this with avi files on a data cd..
any gud company will do ..sony ,lg,samsung..supporting divx.
