I have been using AVG anti virus for the past few years & it has been working just fine - First thing i did when i booted my machine was update the "Virus Definations" & I also run a weekly scan to keep my computer virus free & Till now i have done so without Using a Paid AV Software.
the other day I tried Updating the software & it started downloading the Virus def's too - but after downloading it started giving the error - "Update was Unsuccessful". I have tried Uninstalling & re-installing the software, but this doesnt work. what do i do to get this Great FREE AV to work like b4.
My Comp config as under :
C2D 1.80
Intel D945GCCR AAD78647-302
ACR Acer AL1714
2GB RAM
Segate 160 HDD(main) + Samsung 40GB HDD
NVedia 8500GT AGP Card
WIN XP Pro
SOny DVD Writer
BSNL Broad band with Wifi Router
AVG 7.5.488 Version 7.5.488
