it is also good.The best thing about NOD32 is ..it is very light and much effective.

Thats true. But almost at the same price you can get total internet security, all in one package wid Kaspersky. For most home users the bundled anti-spam, exe/registry guard, parental controls, anti-hacker firewall etc. are enough.

Kaspersky is the best in terms of detection. But if u want less memory hogging AV with a gud performance, try NOD32. I have been using it with ZA for quite sometime and havnt faced any virus, spyware prb. as yet...

Go with kaspersky antivirus with its internet security/ Zone alarm firewall.

In terms of detection rate Avira Antivir (Pro), Kaspersky and Norton are the best. But I choose Kaspersky as it has got the best interface and is also pretty light.
Nod32 is light but has a weak database.
