Try to clean install windows and use the latest sound card drivers ( download it from net ).

BTW, mention your mobos exact model number ??

Do you have any separat sound card or using the mobos audio port ??

This mobo does not need discrete sound card as it has a realtek audio chip embedded in the mobo. Try downloading latest realtek hd audio drivers, install them and your probs should be solved :p

i think the sound drivers are not installed properly... try checking device manager for any exclamation marks...
