Well at 60K my vote goes for Core i7 based system. For that I've sacrificed the UPS for now. I think you should buy it later

Core i7 950 @ 14K
MSI X58 Pro-E @ 10.9K
Kingston 2X2 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 @ 3.1K
Seagate 7200.12 1 TB SATA @ 2.7K
Corsair VX550 - 4.7K
NZXT Gamma - 2.1K
BenQ G2220HD full HD monitor @ 7.5K
Sapphire HD 6850 @ 11.3K or Zotac GTX 460 1 GB @ 12.3K
LG 22X SATA DVD Writer @ 0.9K

Total 58.2K with HD 6850 or 59.2K for GTX 460 1 GB. You can add another 2 GB of RAM @ 1.5K to get triple channel configuration and hence performance boost.

I think for gaming, core i5 760 is more than enough. Besides op is able to get a 6870 with the i5 which will be more future proof. But if he can increase his budget then i7 950 all the way.
