gooby pls
iTunes is currently
one of the most popular audio players on the Internet, being developed by Apple but available on Mac and Windows. Because it is also compatible with Microsoft’s operating system, more and more Windows users are attracted to use Apple’s application. Among other important improvements for the applications included in Mac OS X there is also a recommended update for iTunes meant to resolve some recently reported compatibility issues.

Today, AppleInsider reported that Microsoft and Apple are currently working to resolve some important compatibility issues between iTunes and Windows Vista that make the application crash or return errors. As AppleInsider sustains, the compatibility errors might appear every time a user disconnects an iPod directly or using the “Safely Remove Hardware”, creating corrupted files on the Apple device.

“Apple also notes that iTunes may exhibit graphical visual anomalies that can be resolved by resizing the iTunes window and that Contact Groups from Windows Contacts will not sync with iPod. In addition, the company notes that iTunes remains unsupported on 64 bit editions of Windows, including Windows Vista and Windows XP x64,” the same publication reported.

Although iTunes was improved with multiple important compatibility updates for Windows Vista, the application also received a new function designed especially for the upcoming company’s product, the Apple TV. The new feature allows users to transfer multimedia content straight into Apple TV and create their own libraries to be played on the device.

Apple iTunes was also tested by Softpedia and it is available as a free download on this link. If you want to read more information about the major update recently released by Apple, you can read the article published here.

Microsoft is the biggest software vendor for the Macintosh platform. The Macintosh Business Unit (Mac BU) at Microsoft is housed in a separate building that is in charge of some of the best Mac devs out there who work in tandem with Apple to produce Micosoft software for the Mac platform that is better than its Windows counterpart.

Both are enemies and both need each other to survive. :)

What sort of post is that? If you have seen it, say so. If you haven't, admit it. This is your second consecutive post that says "Now what to say". If you had nothing to say, why post a comment in the first place!

Then you would have seen which version was better. This is no topic worth arguing on.

Even Apple and people at Microsoft agree that the Mac BU does a lot better job than the rest of Microsoft.

The Ribbon UI is there in Office 2008 for Mac. It is better because it has a new program too which is unavailable in the Windows version. Even the ribbon UI is bound to be better implemented in the Mac version, though we will have to wait to verify this.

Stop spreading lies, BTW. You said you had used the corresponding version of Office for Mac while you are comparing the 2004 version for Mac and 2007 version for Windows. Great! Keep it up.

Troll alert, who fed u? Discussion of Office for Mac is beyind the scope of this thread, still here are a few screenshots of it.

"My Day" is more like widget of Office outlook. It is not a new app, we already have it in Windwos since outlook 2000

P.S. - U must be loving the non-ribbon UI of office 2008 for Mac with palated windows & so much clutter :D

Did you at least look at the screenshots you yourself provided the link to? Office 2008 for Mac has the ribbon UI too.

And "My Day" is an application. Microsoft says so and I don't care if you think it is a widget.

Reminds me of USA and China.

I should have learnt to get over surprises in the software industry after the deal between Novell and Microsoft but well....
