Amd driver stopped working and has recovered.

So, for a few days i have been getting this error when im using Chrome. The screen blacks out and i get a message that the
amd driver has stopped working and has recovered.
I am also experiencing random BSOD's when i close Chrome and exit some games like Bf4, AC4 etc.

This is annoying , any help is appreciated .

Specs :-
i3-4130
8 gb ram
AMD R7 250 ( 13.12 catalyst version)
some local 450 watt psu.

Have you tried uninstalling=>clean using driver sweeper=>reinstalling ?
And which catalyst version are you using?

That's the problem. You should NEVER EVER use a local crap PSU with any graphic card. Get an Antec VP450P.

Well , if the psu is the problem, that sucks. But i dont see how it would cause problems when im using Chrome.

You do need to change the psu. But the R7 250 doesn't need external power does it?
Try reinstalling your drivers first."

And yes,change that psu asap.

GPU might be going kaput, if this happens once it may happen again
Right now I am facing black screen freezes, followed by that message ...hopefully RMA doesnt take long

It could be underpowered 12 V rail. Nothing can be suggested until the PSU is changed as this will be the biggest possible cause. Driver issues come next which can be resolved by using the latest stable version.
