Jus got an athlon 64 3200+ and was playin wid the software on the mobo cd. enabled cool n quiet to see wht it was....does it affect gaming in any way? cuz of that, dxdiag n my computer-properties show the clock speed as ~800 mhz. the software, of course, warned me tht this wld happen, but even after I uninstalled the software and disabled cool n quiet on the BIOS, the clock speed is still bein reported as 800 mhz.
Also, my ram is PC3200 512 running at 400 mhz......but by default, bios sets it to 266? wonder why? though i'm able to set it at 400, is it overclocking in any way? Is any damage possible?
