Since its launch, Amazon's Kindle has been somewhat of an object of desire. The idea of having access to thousands of books over the air, all in a sleek little gadget, is quite tantalising. Amazon recently announced that the Kindle would be available globally, and officially launched it in India today at an event in Mumbai.

17k for an ebook reader that is so bulky that it is better to carry normal books than this one. that's utter waste of money.

And 17k you pay only for the reader. The books are also paid for and will be deleted without notice too sometimes. :lol: I am off, these e-readers suck, I'm better off reading real books.

I just don get it. WHY in the hell would anyone pay 17k for that bulky junk! Besides, unlike a book I can NEVER sleep with that junk lying on my chest :D

I would prefer a netbook other than blowing my money on that bulky ****.

It's better to buy e-books in PDF fromat directly than this one anyday :p
