Yeah at times this happens to me also...but it used to happen earlier wen connection was real good i.e i use to get 28-30kbps download @nite (frm 11 PM - 7AM)

Now its dropped down considerably...:(

Heres what i got yesterday whole night..!!

In day time...its patheeeeetic, Damn yaar Airtel seriosly needs to review thier GPRS service, 12rs are goin totally waste..!!

^^ I think the problem is getting solved. My Mobile Office is working fine today. Lets hope its not temporary.

Hope u ppl are right, even i got improved speeds in morning, like whole days pages were opening though slow but openin, through torrents got download speed of approx 8Kbps in evening, which will race till 20 @nite..!!

I hope it gets back to its original speed alteast...

Hey man u must b having some sort of promblem with ur mobile office settings.you must have went wrong with the access point check weather its spellings are correct.

:) got ~24Kbps yesterday night thru Torrents... it even touched 28-29 once in a while and no Disconnections whole day...gettin speeds of 11Kbps rite now..!!

Mine also seems to have slowed down a bit. Connection drops sometimes (very rarely).

Hey regarding your problem of not being able to receive calls during the surfing, I just wanted to add that this is a very common problem. Whenever you are downloading something or data transfer is taking your phone will become unreachable.

If u include bt/ir data transfer too then u r wrong crazy... Btw speeds r good again.. I luv airtel

Sorry Pathik but I wasn't talking about the data transfer between your phone and your PC. I was talking about data transfer between GPRS server and mob. And dtat transfer ratebetween two Bluetooth devices or between PC and mob has nothing to do with it. Samjha Karo yaar.................

@pathiks :- he is referring to the calls...when we are connected to NET...!! well its kinda random...it happened once..like one of my friend wasnt able to call me..!! it said UNAVAILABLE..on the other hand...i got the another ones call..!!

So its kinda random..!! i guess

You guys are lucky. Here I'm getting only 4 to 5kBps speed all the times and another thing is I'm paying Rs.20/day for it. I hate Airtel for this reason. They are just concentrated in making money without giving the appropriate service.
