any brand with good after sale service (samsung to be kept away as much as possible)

* wanted to buy note 3 because i like to sketch. but heard bad reviews about the heating problems of samsung, so, staying away from all.
* This will be my first android phone experience, all phone i used before are Nokia (symbian)

A few note 3 reviews do talk about the heating issue but anyways you wouldn't get it with 35K.
iOS 8 has been announced this week and it could be worth the wait till it lands in India. If not iOS, get the Nexus 5, simple yet powerful.

just curious question - in case of LG G2, do we have to pick the phone every time we want to reduce the volume? because the buttons are at the back, while N5 has it on sides. :|

How many times do you reduce the volume?
Also No.. Using knock on you can turn the screen on. And the status bar has volume slider. So you can reduce it from there.
