    off to "never ever" land
agreed u can add subtitles with that
but ull have to type it at the precise moment manually
and as far as i know adding a TXT file as subs is not possible
i know ur talkin abt the subs as it comes on the dvd's so for that u need the appropriate language's ".SUB" file from the dvd for proper synchronisation as well
ofcourse since i havent used windows movie maker i could be wrong

goto www.divxsubtitles.net ........ download the required subtitle file

now if u have a movie, say whose filename is........

    forrestgump(someyear)_divx.avi

then, rename the subtitle file to similar name...i.e. forrestgump(someyear)_divx.sub (or .srt)

keep this file in the same directory where the film is.

Run it on a player which supports subtitles !!!!
