Hi .. can any one tell me wheather there any AGP slot in intel845 based mother board...what is the maximum amount of ram that can b added to this mother board???

Without quoting the manufaturer of the mobo it is impossible to tell you if it supports AGP or not...my earlier system was Mercury PI845GVM-AGP V5.0A (an Intel845 based mobo) and it had a AGP slot but MOST of the 845 chipset based mobo's do not have a AGP slot...the max ram that most 845 chipset based mobo's allow is 2GB.

Post the EXACT name of the manufaturer of your 845 based mobo and you will get the answer you are looking for.

All boards based on the 845 chipset don't have a AGP slot, some do, but a 4X one but a very few ones have a 8X..

But for upgrading 845 is really outdated, better get a 865!
