A query regarding Data cards/NIC cards..

Hi friends...
I want to know whether a Data card loaded with a 2G/3G sim provide more internet speed than a smartphone-provided speed(using the same sim) to a pc via wifi hotspot or usb tethering.Do the former has a greater signal catching strength than the latter??? please let me know guys..

Yes Data cards provide more internet speed than a smartphone to a pc via wifi hotspot.
But the signal catching strength of smartphones is better I think but it is different for different devices that means it varies.
