Well can you suggest another graphic card which is a little less at cost?? a small dip in performance won't matter..!!

and probably a better motherboard..!!

you are welcome :)

6850 is recommended. highly. dont look elsewhere on cheaper cards.

that mobo is sufficient. you may look at Gigabyte GA-880GA-UD3H (rev. 3.1) @ 5.4k

moreover that 6850 power edition is extremely vfm. high oc potential.

@OP
If you are thinking that GFX card is surpassing your budget, then you dont have to sacrifice it...
Instead you can look at these alternatives

--->Zebronics Bijli case @ 1k
--->AMD Athlon II x4 635 @ 4k

@jassy
that UPS looks suspicious to me

u knw...i never had a fancy for AMD processors or ATI cards....so i always suggest everyone for intel processors and Nvidia cards...

And i said that i m planning to overclock but i may not do that...it's not the first thing on my mind...so i asked for a cheaper card..and about the motherboard..some of my friends used gigabyte products and they always seem to be running into some trouble..(don't ask me why)...

btw what about MSI motherboards?? i have seen some good ones..

@piyush nice pic..haha :p

hmmm....ok
not very popular in the market, that why i was feeling that way

Piyush, I have personally tested it. It is srch07, our forum member, who bought the core i5 2400 based rig in the very 1st place. His config is i5 2400, Asus Dh67 based mobo, 2X4 GB Corsair Value ram, 1 TB HDD and a HD 6850. His system is a gaming server which runs 24X7 in most of the months along with tons applications like VMWre etc.

The intex UPS gave us backup of 35 minutes while playing games for 20 mins and running Vmware all the times. After 35 min we had switched on the power and the UPS was not out of juice till then. It also comes with 2 Years of Onsite warranty with replacement time of 5 days. Checked the Intex website.
