A different error os XP

I have win XP SP1 and when I run computer I get "File Protection Error"
and it says to insert my XP CD on the drive.

I had inserted CD for 3-4 hrs. Then also it gives the same error
I have formatted my computer 4-5 times.
Could any one give me permanent solution.

It seems that your PC is infected with a virus. Do you have any Antivirus software installed?

Its not a virus.
For stability & for the purpose of retaining original system file which tend to get written over accidentally or intentionally by some software, windows xp has a feature called Windows File Protection[WFP].
When active it prompts for the restores the respective files either from
1.Either the dll cache folder [silent restoration]
2.If files not present in the dll cache folder then it asks the user for the installation disc.

To resolve your prob,insert the installation disc & click next in the error box that you got.
