I Have Intel 865 Motherboard N Intel 2.8ghz Ht. I Want To Upgrade My Gfx Card. Budget About 13k. As U Know My Mother Board Is Agp 8x, So Which Card To Buy? Or Shall I Change By Motherboard? Please Suggest Me The Best Option. If You Suggest Me To Change Mother Board Then Which One To Get? My Overall Budget Is About 13k.

Well for ur budget u could buy a XFX GeForce 6800 GS 256 MB DDR3 8X AGP (PV-T40B-UDF3 ). The best buy in ur budget.

Or if u want a SERIES 7 gfx card then ur choice could be 7600gs (8-9K) or 7800gs (18-19K). Check the prices with local vendor.

The cheapest 7600gs 256mb card I've seen is from FORSA, cost around 7.5K

7600 Gs is an alternative to 6600GT which are supposed to be the cards of mid range. If you have the budget for 13k go for 6800 GS

BTW .. any body here using 7600 GS

Yes 6800GS is available in AGP 8x....GT is better than GS and is also expensive.....

if u r pannig to use about 13k then go for 6800GS/Gt has mentioned...
BUt my suggestion will be 7600 GT from MSI... tht will be around 13-15.5K

Surely 6800GT is the best of the lot from 7600GS and 6800GS. But u won't get these cards in ur budget of 13k, So the best option is to go for XFX 6600GT 256MB DDR3 or 6600LE 256MB DDR from Chaintech or Leadtek. And they would give you enough juice to go in overdrive and also would fit in ur budget.

man what are you guys talking, at least for pci e, 6800gs and 6800gt perform identically, in fact the 6800gs maybe a tad better, but not much difference

7800gs maybe a little better than both
