60 - 65K Gaming Config

kooldude1411

Right off the assembly line
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:Movies and Gaming - Metro 2033, BF3, Hitman: Absolution, FarCry, GTA IV, Sleeping Dogs, NFS Series and all the upcoming games like Metro: Last Light, Crysis 3, GTA V...

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:60k to 65k only.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:No..

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows 7 Ultimate x64

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:1TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:Yes. Suggest 23-24' FullHD Monitor

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:Within 3 - 4 days

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:No. Will be done by assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:Gujarat. Will buy locally.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:Suggest me a config with intel i5 processor and the config should have onboard gfx option. In case the gfx card dies, I can atleast use the pc for some documents work or for watching movies. I would like to go with Nvidia gfx card only.

Needs suggestion for Processor (which i5 to go for. Sandy or ivy?), Motherboard, RAM, HDD, Monitor, 2.1 speakers, Gfx Card, PSU, Cabinet, UPS

Thanks everyone..

Thanks CommanderShawnzer & The Incinerator

I have decided to increase my budget a little and I am thinking of going with this config

Intel Core i5 3570
Gigabyte H77DS3H
Gskill 8GB RAM F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL
Gigabyte GTX 660Ti or Asus GTX660 TI-DC2 or Asus GTX 670 DC2
WD Caviar Blue 1TB
Corsair CX600V2
Corsair 400R
BenQ GL2450HM
Edifier C2

I am still open to suggestions and I also want to know, Is Corsair CX600V2 good enough for GTX 670 DC2 and is there any performance issues with the ASUS cards?

Thanks

Get i5 3470 ~11.7k and hd7950 @21-22k.It is better than gtx660ti.
CX600V2 is fine, would easily handle gtx670 with the set-up.You can also look for corsair GS600@ 4.4k

Thanks for your suggestion vkl.

Any major performance difference between i5 3470 and i5 3570?

^^Just the clocks. Both the processors are fine.i5 3470 has 0.2GHz lower stock clock and also maximum turbo boost frequency is 0.2GHz less.
i5 3470+ hd7950 looks as a better combination than i5 3570+gtx660ti.

Today I will go to other vendor and see if he is able to arrange all the components....

I don't want to take the risk of assembling the PC myself and also the warranty problems, else I would have purchased everything online....
