rear yes you should mount them at back corners just 15-20cm above your head height(while sitting) sorry if am wrong

coming to my old set up, at that time i had not enough wire and also lappy wont produce 5.1 out so i kept them like that

now am using only 4 speaker of kenstar at 4 corners
