7. What resolution will the screen run at & whats the size of the screen you want?
A:hd monitor of 22inch
8. How would you rate your hardware knowledge from the count of 1-10? (1 being the lowest, 5 being you are somewhat in sync with the current performers and 10 being the highest)

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
A:assembler
10. When are you planning to buy the system?
A:within a month
11. Are you one of the types looking out for "future proof" configurations?

or Core i5 650 3.2Ghz @ 9.1K + MSI H55M-E33 @ 5.5k/Asus P7H55 @ 5.5k

or Core i5 760 2.8Ghz @ 10.4K + MSI P55-CD53 @ 6.7k

U may use P55 chipset with core i3 and i5 6xx series,but wont be able to use the iGPU.

gts 250 is outdated and gtx 460 is way better in terms of performance and gtx 460 has dx11 as well. core i3 s are just hyperthreaded dual cores which means that they will perform nowhere close to true quad cores like AMD athlon ii x4. Go for Jaskanwar's config, its fully balanced and very powerful.

intel i5 750 (10k) + Radeon 5750 (7.5k) is i think a grt combo

Stick with Jaskanwar's suggestion. Just change the Graphics card with Palit GTX460 768MB GDDR5 @ 10.9k. Then the whole rig will come within your budget.
For a new rig don't even think about the Intel's dual core Core i3 and Core i5 series. They are highly overpriced compared to the performance they offer.

GTX 460 is far better than HD 5770. So for graphics stick with it.

i would consider a zotac gtx 460 over palit anyday!!
if you dont have the money,
go for hd 5770
shouldn't gamble with palit considering the recent incidents

Can amd processor be trusted?

I hope everyone sees the contradiction
