I don't think that the keypad is a problem...It is just a matter of getting used 2 it...The keypad has a lot of spacing in between the keys, so the chances of pressing a wrong key are less...:D

Its not just about not pressing a wrong key. The question is the comfort factor.

If u use a N82 for a few days...... & then lay your hands on other mobiles such as good old Nokia 6600 or Nokia 6233 or Nokia 5700....... u know what u r missing in the N82.

but then there r so many other features in the N82 that I believe will not let any one miss 6600/6233/5700 at all....The N82 is very feature rich....:D

I am not questioning the features of the N82 nor comparing it with outdated mobiles like 6600, 5700 or 6233.

Its just that the keypad is the most used part of the mobile and having an uncomfortable keypad takes away some of the fun of having a N82.

True !

In fact, keypad easy depends on person to person. Like, I am very comfortable with the keypad of K810 or K850 whereas a lot of people are not.

BTW, guys, the N82 Black is just not available out here. Seems, I'll have to go with K850i.
Any issues of hanging etc in K850i ???

heehe I started reading this thread queit late, a good comparision, and using word brick,
in my words all nokias' are bricks because they are of much solid make than any of the SE, and I say regardless of the fact I use SE K550, but guys if its just like that comparing good eye candy design then samsung and LG are better than nokia or even samsung.

so buddy gourav, its upto you as uppalpankaj said earlier with a very good and neat comparision what you wanna buy, after reading through suggestions, because any problem comes up its your head which will be tensed we would be just helping out.

and for my words, N82 being Symbian and equally priced to K850, is better, because after paying so much you will like to keep your phone atleast 2 years, and by that time you yourself would not know what apps you loaded, and symbian will be really able to handle things well.

Even then with good java base support and cool designed K850 you wont regret, keypads of nowadays mobile are good(keypads of 5500 sport is what no company would wanna repeat), and you can get used to them quick and easy. and light weightness of K850 would make it have even better feel in your hands.

Good Luck in whatever you buy.

The keypad aint a problem. Maybe, if you have Huge-Ogre like fingers. :p But not normally. You will get used to it. BTW praka, why did you sell your w810i to get a k810i. ??
