my onboard LAN is used by a PPPoE connection for the internet....could i insert another PCI lan card and connect my notebook to it? is it possible? if yes, is it the usual way of networking, or any xtra steps to be taken?
Same query here....Want to connect 2 more computers to my existing dataone connection....Also want to make a LAN for the 3 comps....I know it is possible...we need a small switch sort of a thing...But have no details.....Can anyone throw more light?....Whats the specific hardware rquirement?..>Cost???
