I have a brand new WD Blue Caviar 7200 rpm 160 GB Sata. Unused in pack. Warranty expires in Feb 2015. I received it as replacement for another WD drive which went bust for some reason but since then I have upgraded to a 1 tb drive. I dont have the proof of purchase but you don't need the same for WD RMA. Serial number can be checked online to confirm warranty duration
