10k Touch Phone

Need a phone within 10k (11k at most if its really worth the buck)

Needs (must have)
1.3g
2.front camera also
3.qwerty(virtual or phyical)
4.Good battery(last 2days under normal usage)

note: should be good vaule for money because i dont want to waste the extra cash if i save that is
& i have no use of wifi..
I have the nokia5230 in mind for 7.5k
anyother suggestions or should i go for it??/

5230 doesn't have front camera AFAIK
try the samsung MONTE
better and more durable touchscreen(capacitive)
3.2mp camera(nokia has 2mp)
much much better looks
Bettr build quality
full 3g(3.6mbps hsdpa)

if someone has a budget of 10k
there is no sense of going nokia 5230 over samsung monte!!
all this at 9.2k inclusive vat(last time i checked)

MONTE ALL THE WAY!!

Samsung monte doesn't have onscreen qwerty if I am right. And it's touchwiz ui is nowhere near to symbian. Monte is a feature phone that came close to being a smartphone. I would suggest nokia 5800xm over Monte or if you can wait a bit, you may get nokia c6 with slide qwerty inside 14k.

although its not qwerty, try looking at Nokia c5. its built quality is impressive. its not touch screen though but got everything u asked and even more like GPS (lifetime free maps from nokia), 3.2 MP with flash, etc for about Rs 7500.

Also try Nokia C5. It also has all the features you want & costs less than Monte.

In the gsmarena link posted above the Nokia C5 homescreen shows something like a contacts bar, Has the contacts bar made its way into S60v3 also?
If yes can I get it on Nokia 5320 with a firmware update? or even a cooked f/w?

But the thing I see going for Samsung is the bigger screen, else the nokia is a good buy. The free navigation is really a great thing, once my bike was towed away in CP and the Maps really helped me get to the MCD vehicle yard.

yaah get 5800 ...now its near perfect with no bugs

the problem is 5800 is abt 13.5k
i searched long & hrd & found the Corbypro is the only one to satisfy all the needs at 9.5k
now am thinking is the 2k worth it for the front camera only
what say guys???

dude 5800 have Symbian OS...soo u can install many softwares as per ur need
And along with 5800 u also get an 8gb Nokia SD card which alone would cost around RS.1500
I donno if still nokia is giving that PX100 headset free...it have great sound quality
5800 have great sound quality in in iteslf and dual speaker is great.

Also qwerty touch keypad is good enough if u type occasionally...like 15-20 sms daily

C5 also has Symbian & it costs much less than 5800. Also 5800 has become an old model now & is bulky.

so i have decided under 10k
corbypro - (does anyone know if it has got videocall feature thru front camera)

& if by chance 12-13k i am looking at
1.Jet
2.Spica i5700(if available )

Yes, I have a Samsung s5233 (Star) and it's better than Nokia 5800 KB specially the handwriting part, but it depends on how you get used to it.

Jet is better then 5800 hardware wise...just that it dont have an OS..

If u can wait for 1 month more u will definitely get a better choice...
