cd rom problem
why does my cd writer tray keep popping out automatically even while reading a cd? can anyone help me? i have a samsung 52X cd writer- letsbefrends_2001

Samsung DVD Rom not reading any DVDs
My samsung DVD rom is not reading any dvds. XP detects it properly but whenever I insert a dvd it is not read. Please let me know what to do Thanks Saint pureheartedsoul@gmail.com- saint

All ABOut ROMS!!!
I Think that a roms life is for 8-12months thats it!!! This is how i started to think of Firstly i purchased a writer of lg,after 8 months its giving me problems while reading the cds,Then I purchased a combo of samsung,within six months the tray was not closing properly,and today...- neerajvohra

I am wondering if there's any kind of facility/software available for windows, which could preserve the old work environment of mine b4 i shutdown the machine. combo drive problem??
I got this newly launched dvd combo drive frm sony,recently I had a samsung writer and it gave me problems,but the sony combo solved my problem,but while reading data frm cd it is extremely slow and sometimes fails to even copy files while installing stuff,I need know r there any bios settings...- akitosforever
