inverter

I have just bought a new Su-Kam inverter with a battery from inverpower. now tell me how can I increase the life of the battery and inverter. I heard something about deep discharge. Can anyone help me out thanks :)

One of the mechanics who came to repair my blown up SMPS a few weeks ago said that connecting computer to an inverter is very harmful and this had caused my SMPS.Friends is it true??????Iam really confused.:confused:

Inverter's ehhh? now this is giving me headache and will burn my pocket. Now last week this same day my Sukam- 1400va double powered battery just stop delivering power and started beeping litting up a red led. A gaseous poisonous smokey odour followed. Okay now what do i do ? warranty period...

hi, i have 500Va UPS, which gives very less backup around 10min (using for 1 PC having 17" CRT monitor), to get more backup, which will be the best solution? What if i go for inverter?

I am home user and use my system daily upto 10-15 hrs :cry: . My problem is the area I stay suffers from severe power cuts daily for 5 - 6 hrs. Though not continiously but in a gap of One and half hour or so. I have an UPS presently connected ( 600 va Xe-Bac) it hardly gives me backup...
