Has anyone successfully installed and using Beryl without a seperate graphics card? I'm running a slackware 10.2 with 2.6.20 kernel, my system is an Intel 845G chipset, P4 2.4 Ghz, 256 MB RAM
my lspci|grep VGA output is like this:

I've just installed Beryl on Open Suse 10.2 (by following the info for "Beryl with nVidia drivers - no Xgl/AIGLXat" with the info given in: *en.opensuse.org/Beryl
It is working marvelously but I'm getting greedy now to achieve the Transparent 3D Cube effect as shown in the link given...
One of the nice interface features in Windows Vista hits Linux desktops! When you hover over an application in the taskbar, it will show you a LIVE preview of that window. You can set delay, and the size of the thumbnail in the Beryl settings manager: Beryl Settings Manager -> Extras -> Window...

NOTE: Guys take a backup of the 'etc/X11/xorg.conf' file before making any changes!!
So in case something goes wrong, you can always restore the original file.
