80gb

i have an old pc configuration as- intel pentium III - 1 Ghz 384 MB SD RAM (128 on one slot and 256 on other) 20 GB Harddisk now i want to upgrade my harddisk and add another IDE harddisk of 80GB or 40GB but i am confused about the RPMs that which one will work for me.... pls help me...

1>i have two ram sticks a 1gb ddr2 800mhz transcend(5-5-5) & an exactly similar 2gb ram.i have installed the 2 gb ram in the first slot of my asus p5kc m/b..likewise the 1gb is in the second slot..now if i ever change the slots of the ram..my monitor doesn't display anything..i think my gfx card...

Guys, I hv 2 HDDs a WD 160GB SATA & Smsng 80GB PATA. 80GB has 4 partitions 3 are 20GB & fourth is 14GB. Now wanna remanage partition i.e. 1st partition 40GB & 2nd 34GB. Is dis possible by partition magic? Or wht kinda software sud i use?
