Thanks Above !!!
I personally don't like the idea of having 2.1 Speaker Sets touted as premium on in the range of 15K with supposedly great sound. So I was wondering if we had 2.0 configuration with fuller, warm or neutral sound dedicated for music in this price bracket.
I agree with you partially. But the price bracket mentioned was the sole constraint. If one could escalate the budget to 25K, then there will be myriad of options coming in from Denon,Tannoy, Onkyo, Diamond Audio etc ...
Yes, MAudio will be the next best thing to have !!!
Since you'll be having the sound output from TV itself, so it will be TV's remote that will be controlling the audio piece ... You can keep the speaker's volume calibrated at constant volumes (maybe 70-80%)
Just think of something like TVs speaker being replaced by your 5.1 channel speakers...
Frankly speaking, most of the mainstream home theatre that you come to see in the showrooms like Philips, Sony, Samsung etc aren't worth the penny except some models. Its always better to buy CD/DVD player separately and match them with the multimedia speakers of your liking. The speaker that...
***Home Theatre Setup : CD/DVD Players + Speaker System (be it 2.1 or 5.1 or 7.1) + A/V Receivers in some case
***Multimedia Speakers/Computer Speakers/PC Speakers : These are the speakers which generally comes in 2.1 or 5.1 configuration with amplifier unit built in (housed in sub-woofer)...
Hi Mates,

My Take is
2.0 Setup :
Audio Engine A2 --> ~10K
X Fi Xtreme Audio --> ~3.5K
I personally don't like 2.1 configuration as an audiophile, and my interest is limited to Music...
Fenda Speakers (F&D) are providing good value for money these days ... You can buy these sets from Flipkart at as low as 1650/- ... Both A510 or A520 will give you the bang for bucks (52RMS output). Honestly speaking, Ive both Creative Inspire 2.1 and F&D 2.1, and when it comes to sound quality...
Guess it can be a worthy successor of Altec MX5021 (now discontinued) when it comes to sound quality at this price. I've been missing MX5021 days when it topped nearly all the reviews. Z623 can be a gap filler at least. Good purchase bro !!! Even I've been eyeing this model over Flipkart.
No Bluish,
I got the point of urs that you were trying to make...It may be my mistake where I just tried to answer in different ways or voiced my opinion...Anyways,I wanna be tight lipped on this issue coz I dont wanna be tagged as thread divert(Still Im open to all the arguments but in...
But given that his Ubuntu partition went for the toss,he'll in either case will have to reinstall the Ubuntu which will automatically put MBR on the track by rewriting it.
@NucleusKore:
Sir,u have misunderstood my points till some extent.Will make it clear one by one:
1.If GRUB is such an issue,then why Windows can come up with its own boot-loader which supposedly will have a rocket science involved in it.After all,u have paid a significant amount to be their...
