good universities in US for Masters !!!!!

well guys I'm an average student looking for good universities for Masters in Computer science ,taking in account expenses ,accomodation & all ,any suggestions !!!!!!!

if post, try for stanford,berkely,harvey mudd,perdue, caltech, there are plenty more,you should do a little research and perhaps think of going there first.

Based on the bolded items I suggest you these universities:

Illinois Inst. of Technology, Temple University, SUNY Stony Brook, San Jose State University, Univ. of South California, Syracuse University. Of corz there are many others, but these are what come to my mind right now.

And btw, don't get fooled by all the "rankings" that various blogs/sites give. They are mostly manipulated or even if they are authentic they are old unless there is concrete info.

If expenses is something you are bothered about then try to avoid these cities - Chicago, anywhere in California, New York etc. The unfortunate thing is that most of the Universities I mentioned above are in these cities. So its really a tradeoff about which you can do nothing about. Do some research to find a balanced combination. All the universities will haf fees listed on their website.

I suppose Masters means post-graduate. And dude... I must say... awesome list there! :))

@thread starter:Why don't you have a look at some of european universities,they are cheaper and quality is top notch,albeit language might be a problem sometime.

^^ Good luck with finding a job in Europe without learning a second language. You are too obsessed with Europe. **** beaches are not everything in life.. >.<
