  • 1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
    Ans:

Graphic related work and mid to high graphics games, doom 2015 for eg and Adobe after effect and adobe premier

    2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
    Ans: 50k

    3. Planning to overclock?
    Ans: No

    4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
    Ans: Windows 10

    5. How much hard drive space is needed?
    Ans: 500 gb

    6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: 22' full HD, but can compromise

    7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
    Ans: Hard drive, I guess

    8. When are you planning to buy the system?
    Ans: ASAP

    9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
    Ans: Assembler

    10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Mumbai. Open to buy online too

    11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Excited about ryzen 5 but idk if it would fit in my budget..

go with Sapphire Rx 470 4gb @15k for FREESYNC and more performance, it is worth it.. the lg monitor has freesync

just so you know Rx 570 is launching in a few days, performance diff isn't going to be much though ,... if you can wait , see how it goes and then decide , otherwise go for Rx 470 now

1) The mobo looks expensive.. I don't plan to run SLI ever so is it okay if I go with a cheaper mobo? wouldn't a A320 variant suffice..?

2) 8GB ram is going for 5k these days.... I had no idea. Do other brands have cheaper offerings?

This config is actually for my friend so i'm not sure if he can extend it to 55k.. I'll run this config by him and see what he feels.

Going for an Intel config in this budget would be a bad idea right? Won't the 1400 outperform all intel options in this range?

EDIT: Is the RAM expensive coz ryzen performance depends on ram speed or something? I think I read something of this sort somewhere..

Considering the budget, 1400 looks good. A good intel setup in this budget would cost more with similar performance.
Regarding mobo, I agree. A320/A300 series mobo would easily suffice as overclocking isn't required.

Guys, I suggest extending the budget a bit and getting Ryzen 5 1600.

bssunilreddy's config is perfect.

Buy Online | ASUS PRIME B350M-A Socket AM4 Motherboard | Price in Indi

This is cheapest B350 I could find.

Gigabyte, MSI have launched A320 mobos here but the price isn't listed anywhere. :|

Since you are limited on budget...

You have 2 options ..

1) Does adobe after effect and Adobe premier fully utilises multiple cores ? and if that is more important to you.. .. and/or if you want your processor to last long in future.. Then get Ryzen 1600

or

2) instead of putting the extra money into Ryzen 1600 you can put that money into getting Rx 470 @15k and buy Ryzen 1400.. You will get much more gaming performance and will be able to use "Freesync" as well with that LG monitor for buttery smooth gaming experience..

The A320 board has only been launched a few days ago in USA , so i don't think they are available yet here.. you will have to wait a few days ..

A320 board would cost around 5k , whereas cheapest B350 board is available for 7k..
