Hi,

My laptop fell from bus seat to the bus floor and since then there is no display during post or os boot on the default laptop screen. The display works fine on the secondary monitor. I can hear the post sound (asus post sound) each time. After post the display comes fine and works normally.

My laptop is ASUS Rog G75VW 2012 model,

I opened my laptop and checked all the cables attached to the motherboard, they all seem fine.
Have not opened the monitor panel yet.

I am attaching pics of the same.

Thanks,

Its a bit far fetched, but it could be that the shock made a minute portion of your BIOS go kaput? But since your lap boots normally, it could mean that there is no major damage.

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the silence,
I had sent my laptop for repairs, and luckily it got repaired,
The screen is perfectly fine.

The repair person said that it was some issue with display chip and they replaced it for 3.2K, ok deal.

And he also said that while travelling remove the battery from the laptop, he has seen many cases when people complaint that the laptop stops booting after travelling.

I did ask the question, but the person who came to deliver the laptop had no much idea,
He said some ic was replaced, as they had to send it to a further checkup in a diff lab and they guys repaired it,

I had similar problem in my another laptop, that had too charged me 3.2 k, (rate in blr is constant across all vendors, thats a good thing )
