You're comparing two different type of construction based headphones. While M50x is a closed back design, HD 598Se on the other hand is an open back design.
Both of them have their own pros and cons. [ Open back - better acoustic performance and sound-stage, but sound leakage// Closed back - confined sound stage, but better highs and noise cancellation ]

PS : M50x is not suited for use during summer. :sigh: They are on the not-so-comfortable side.
Yeah I know they are different, thing is I have never tried a pair of open back headphones? How much is the sound leak in reality? I was thinking of buying a nice pair for music while travelling Europe

As the above post says all about it - M50x and HD 598 SE are different class. But if you want to use it On-The-Move and with your Phone or portable player and don't want to carry any separate portable AMP and OK with closed stuff - Then I like to suggest ATH MSR-7 - Stylish CAN to use outside and the sound quality mind blowing - very easy to drive from phone - Also ships with phone remote cable - Ideal for Long Flight and looks Good on the head - more comfortable fit than M50x ( For me atleast, your mileage may vary).

This is my first Serious Sennheiser other than 180/201 basic - I mostly prefer AT.

That Bosch is a beast.Few things I came to know;Don't mind if you know but just thought to mention it.
1.Keep machine on trolley/carriage and warranty is void.
2. Use it without unbalancing and warranty is void.
3.High water pressure reqd. Up to 8l/min

Feel free to mention a review if possible.
Planning to buy one.

yes, it was the honest perspiring hard work of looting several banks & lotteries over a period of 2 months :winking_NF:
@gagan_kumar - the W/L headset is for the HTPC, the 2 gaming ones for PS4 + PC (MAY sell the SS one later to buy one from turtle-beach or plantronics), and M50X for main PC.
@anaklusmos , @shreeux - as others wrote, forum-purchase is items bought off of forums' classified sales-sections. the sellers'/members' trading-feedback/rating tells whether is trustworthy.

- - - Updated - - -
kunalgujarathi - true points. good water-pressure reqd for FL machines. also, no warranty on the machine-door. what's unbalancing? machine runs deadly silent except when running at full speed when it sounds like a jet is taking off with sound mufflers.

The technician balances the machine before operation.
Read in reviews.
Contact Bosch customer care and ask.
If you operate without balancing the machine your warranty will be void.

wasnt present at home during installation. but must've been balanced (though dont think there was any need, as its on a completely level floor), as there's no noise or shaking or moving or inefficient washing associated with an unbalanced machine.

@dissel - you could've also gotten it for 5.6k. it was for 6.5k in lightning deal. use discount coupon from hike for 10% off, as well as buy a 5000 gift voucher using promo EMAIL250. effective price 5.6k then. anyway, what's done is done. great deal nevertheless. :)

Raspberry Pi:
planning a home security system with sensors andlocks with an Analog to Digital Converter and 2 line LCD Display, and temperature, motion sensor to power lights on entrance when gate opens like taht.
should write code, I think I can(did 2x Winforms c# + SQL production application for business)

have 40 pin IDE connector which will be used with Raspbery Pi Connectors, need to order relays and ADC chip,

and 5v PAM8403 Audio Amp for siren / voice notification from Raspberry?

have Channel Well Technology 5V 2Amp adapter which is great for this build.which is 7 years old and not used too much.
