one of my friend wants to upgrade is pc...
need processor + motherboard + ram + power supply

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: 1st priority: Programming, 2nd: all basics pc stuffs like surfing, movies etc, 3rd: occasional gaming (not hard core)

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 25k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: no

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7+

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: already have

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: already have

Ans: will do it myself

Hi bhushan2k,

Overall, I like your new selection for PC build. Based on your requirement, I'd suggest you to go with Intel i3 series. The Intel i3 CPU series also fulfill your requirements. I believe these components are best for programming and normal use. For RAM configuration, I suggest you 2x4GB that because its easier to set high clock compare to 4GB of single stick and you'll have 2 empty slots for future upgrade.

For future proofing, after you add the new component in the system then you really need a higher wattage PSU. The minimum requirement for Future proof rig PSU is 500 or 550W.

Hope it helps.

750Ti does not need extra power from PSU upto GTX 960 needs a 400W PSU as bare minimum

AMD cards are too expensive in India so you should be fine with the above PSUs
