Weird problem in my HTC One V - Liquid on top of screen ?

Hi,
I have a two year old HTC One V and it has a weird problem I never seen on any other phone.
Its like a slimy liquid on top right of the lcd of the phone. Earlier it was little bit on the side but now its expanded a bit. But everything is working fine without any problem. :|
Check the image attachment to understand what I am talking about. Its not water coz I keep it safe away from water.
Does anyone know what is this? and how to rectify this problem? :-o

There is no DIY for a situation like this. Take it to the service center and get it checked.

Are you using a screen guard, if yes, then in all probability it wasn't affixed properly and its just air bubble gone bad.

The glue between the digitizer and the LCD has given way and what you are possibily seeing is the air gap in between the two layers . Also the glue may possibly be melting too . Can't see it clearly in the photo .

The service centre guys told me change the complete lcd assembly. :-o I said I wont for so old phone. :p They were quoting Rs.4K.

So, is it possible get it opened at a regular repair shop and get it fixed? by cleaning glue or something?

^^Yes , maybe you can give it a try .

Alright :-D
Here is a closeup pic with screen on.. If you see it closely you will see the lining of that glue/air on the screen. :-( But touch is working in that area too. :-o

If it ain't broke , don't fix it . Getting original parts is a problem . And once LCD diditiser separated , they will never stick back as stock fitting .
I'd say leave it till such a time that the touch in that corner does not work .

you can remove that water using hair drier.. first remove every part properly from device except screen. don't remove anything from screen (digitizer lcd etc). then use hair drier on back side..
other thing is that service center will provide you original lcd and with warranty. you can search on ebay for low cost.
