Ans: Game Development. Unity, Maya, Unreal Engine. And playing too

Ans:Nope

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Windows 10 (Meanwhile 8.1)

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:1 TB + 120 GB SSD.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:Yes. 24 inches. 144hz IPS. (1080p + maybe)

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?

Ans:July-August

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:Myself

16GB Ram a must.
Thinking for 970 SLI.
And a Nice Case.

Single GTX 980 would be better IMO. And since OP doesn't wants to OC, get i7 4770 or Xeon E3 1246 V3 instead of i7 4790k.

Get Logitech G series gaming kb + mouse for ~4k.

Also, gainward 970 are bit cheaper. Will 2 of them fit in that motherboard.?


As I was digging a pc for exact same purpose for a friend I will suggest two options.
As for IPS 144hz monitor there is only one I could find Asus MG279Q which is 27inch 2k monitor. Price in uk is around 36k no idea about India.

About SLI yes its good but it is a similar to overclock is a hassle. There is little difference in performance(from 980ti)
Swap psu with RM 850 if going SLI with 970s. Yes all the motherboards mentioned are SLI capable. I mean all 3.

Go for imported Korean Monitor. A 27 inch 1440p will make your gaming experience more satisfying
