The title says it all. I have a CM Devastator combo and its getting white day by day due to some kind of dust. I need to clean all my keys thoroughly. ( just the keytops will work if its too risky)

All keyboard keys can be pulled out, i usually pull out all the keys, and clean the insides once in every 8-9 months.. you will be surprised, how much dirt gets accumulated in there

how to do that? Because directly pulling isn't working

there are keycap removal tools but , the cm devastator keys look like they are a bit larger than standard keyboards... you could run a vaccuum cleaner over the keyboard (in suction mode) but that wont clean everything inside...
as for the keycaps, what i like to do is take a Q tip and use rubbing alcohol to clean the keys properly, then wipe it all off using a slightly damp cloth

will try that.

Btw do compressed air cans work? And how many times can they be used?

compressed air cans will just blow air inside, using a vaccuum will suck out the dust from underneath the key caps.. I m not sure how much they cost but they seem expensive

i'll just use the vacuum + isopropyle to clean and see how it works.

Right off the assembly line
Shake keyboard. If you're cleaning a laptop keyboard, remove the cord and the battery. ...
For future reference, take a photo of your keyboard before you dismantle it.
Remove keys. ...
Clean and dry keys. ...
Spray compressed air. ...
You can also run a hand-held vacuum over the shell.
Dab with alcohol. ...
Reassemble.

thanks for the reply and bumping the thread. I used isopropyl alcohol to clean the keyboard from outside and a blower (my vaccum cleaner's blower mode) to blow out dust from inside. They worked perfectly :)
