In the zone
This is a common issue with DeathAdders from the 1st gen onwards and Razer still hasn't (purposely?) fixed it. I had a DA Black Edition and have switched back to Logitech. Will never recommend Razer stuff to anyone again. Hope you get your mouse exchanged soon, but don't be surprised if the new one develops the same issue. In the meantime, try blowing some air into the gaps under the mouse buttons, that temporarily fixes it.

:| Got call from FK today, i'm told " We can replace the product within 30 days from purchase date " beyond that they can't help. After arguing they gave me a contact number of service center(no idea what service center). But guess what? Number does not exist!

Finally, got the replacement today.

I was asked to pay 100/- towards service charge. They said, the product will be shipped back to Singapore Razer's (Asia-Pacific) wing for that customer has to bear 50% of service charge and rest 50% by Importer/distributor.

Gaming Unlimited
Both RaZer and Logitech are using Omron switches 1) D2FC-F-7N (10M) for DA and 2) D2FC-F-7N(20M) for G500s which both should theoretically last more for gaming use, but Razer are prone to get damage much sooner than Logitech ones. Mine DA double click & scroll issue started after 1.4 yrs and it's still lying somewhere in corner. I wouldn't say Logitech are much better , but they hold their ground for much longer time.

+1 to this, the double clicking issue is too common it seems, whereas my brother's G9X is still going strong even tho its been used for years

I am propbably going onto third year of my g400 and I game a lot but the mouse is still holding strong and might will for another 1 to 2 years on the least.

i bought my G500 exactly one year back. and it got the double click issue on the right click. got it RMA'd to get a G600.

:fingerscrossed:

but, yes. they are certainly built like a tank. no question about the build quality.

Judgement Time!!
I too faced similar issues with razer mouse. My bad luck was it happened just 10 days after warranty expired which is 1 year. Apart from double clicks, even the scroll wheel started giving issues. Moved to logitech since then. Glad your RMA was done though
