Guys I have seen may phones under 15k but I'm confused which one to choose.

Though all the emerging developers attracts us with huge configurations and stuffs, they are no match for a branded one.
and so my preference is getting "Moto G"

Also one added information, I want my phone to last atleast for 2 years. and that is why I prefer moto.

Any advice is appreciable

LG L90 D405 vs. Motorola Moto G Dual SIM - GSMArena.com

from this comparison i feel moto g is better. with good resolution & pixel density.

5mp is much more sufficient for me.

bro that is just a theoretical comparison...

Screen

. PPI of 235 is good you won't even notice that much unless you really try to look Really Really close .. contrast and colors are slightly better in moto g

Plus the screen is around 0.4 inches bigger than moto G .. i say .4 because of onscreen buttons on Moto g which makes the screen smaller .

Camera

Megapixels are Crap ... they don't tell actual cam quality.. Lg L90 has a much much better Camera..

performance

Around 40 % better performance than Moto G in gaming

Then much better Battery backup and After sale service plus expandable memory , and much better brand recognition as well in india

watch this video you will get a better idea

LG L90 (L9 III ) vs Moto G ita da EsperienzaMobile - YouTube

But if you don't plan on using camera , and are more interested in rooting , custom roms , Updated Software then go for Moto G

Your intended use will decide which phone is better Both of the phones are great

@ op stick to the phones rish mentioned and also have a look at the zenfone series
all three phones are safe buys and will not disappoint
avoid chinese brands like xiaomi,micromax

Yes, I won't opt for it even if it has the spec of samsung s5 @ price of moto G :p ;)

But thinking about Asus - a newbie to mobiles, will their service be good ?

I opted for moto G, coz from the date it had been released it had out shined all other mobiles.

But is it true that the package doesn't have a headphone & a data cable. May be i need to spend 1k more for the accessories.

Moto G
1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, Quad Core1.6 GHz

Zenstone 5
Intel Atom Z2560 Processor with Intel Hyper Threading Technology, Dual Core

how do you match this. which one is powerful

zenfone 5 has an intel atom which is certainly much more powerful but the moto is in no way underpowered either
both are great phones actually and asus india has decent after sales for their routers and laptops so far and people have begun to trust their products even more these days so i guess it should have decent after sales(better than the likes of xiaomi and micromax for sure)
moto also has decent service
depending on your needs(sd card, camera, screen etc) id say either of the two phones(or fones :D :p ) are a vfm package with a premium feel to it and decent service etc

# Somebody is really pissed at Chinese Brands. #

yeah ive had alot of past experiences with them
just recently two of my friends had fallen for such phones and despite a load of trips to the "service centres" have no solution in sight
i just hate it when people fall for such gimmicks without physically using them etc and call reputed offerings inferior

they been making mobiles for quite sometime but never made it here officially.

it has earphones but the quality is so bad, you'll have to sell out for some decent IEM anyway. data cable not included.

Atom Z2560 is faster than S400. problem is, it is also power hungry as seen on Zenfone 4. bigger battery on Zenfone 5 should make it last though a day but clearly Moto G wins if you consider battery.

No matter how powerful the intel SoC is.... Developers only optimize for ARM - Qualcomm (mediatek comes second). Stick to Moto G.

P.S. - By 'Developers' I mean App/Game developers.

I'd say moto g . Kikat is slated to be outdated soon , think its better to invest in something with guaranteed update to next major android version .

What's all this frustration on Xiaomi about? Never seen someone do such thread-crapping before!
I own a Xiaomi Mi3 whereas a cousin owns a Moto G and after comparing them over the past couple of days, I don't find anything wrong in either of the devices. Both are extremely well-built but when it comes to VFM, the Xiaomi simply drubs the Moto G. After sales service? I have had a Karbonn A12+ for almost a year now and have dropped it several times while trekking and till date, I haven't found a problem with it. Yes, the hardware is shitty and it is a cheap phone to be discussed about here but I hope you got the point. :|

P.S.: There is a difference between Xiaomi and Micromax. One is an OEM while the other is a reseller of rebranded phones.
