Should I get assemble the complete CPU for now and wait for a decent 27 inch monitor? I heard Benq and ASUS will launch good resolution monitor (2560x1600) in Q3 or Q4 this year.

There is not much in price difference of i5 4570 and i5 4670.

PSU Seasonic S12 II Bronze suggested by nomad47 is better compared to GS 600 ...

4k non-IPS panels are coming in the market abroad for around 700$ (Example: Samsung UD590) ... But dunno when it'll launch here ...

He's gonna play at 1080p, and if he isn't gonna change the same in next couple of years then 290X will be an overkill for that resolution!
Instead go for a lower card and get an i7, something like a 4770k!

This comment can be disregarded if OP wants to take advantage of above 60 FPS, however that'd need a 120 GHz monitor needless to say.

If pricing is as per Cilus suggested no use in going for that. The AOC monitor is pretty good as per reviews.

And about 4570 and 4670 i suggested the 4570 to save some bucks. If budget permits you can go for it.

see the benchmarks here *www.lanoc.org/review/video-cards/6834-sapphire-dual-x-r9-280-oc?showall=&start=6. 280x is already struggling to make 60 fps in games like tombraider ,sleeping dogs etc. 290 is definitely is not an overkill for 1080p if you consider future games provided you enjoy the game in ultra every settings cramped up so that you can enjoy the games in full glory. who doesn't want unto if some one has enough budget??

However he wants to be safe for another 4-5 years. I doubt 280x will last that long. 290 may be still good in moderate to low settings in that timeframe IMHO.

And he does not want to OC, so no use of K series processor.

Oh yeah okay then. Disregard my comment.

Didn't know 280 was not able to handle those games at 1080p, jeez!

However if I remember right I played Sleeping Dogs at max graphic settings last year, frames were averaging at 50, however it was played at 1050p!

Price of FX8350 and i5 4570 is also same so performance wise which processor is better?

for gaming, i5 has an advantage over fx 8350. for heavily multithreaded apps, fx 8350 wins against an i5.

But Seasonic S12 II Bronze 620 W is not easily available in Nehru Place. Can you please suggest some other good PSU ? What about the CORRSAIR TX-650 SMPS?

deathblade

death,destruction and dev
Then go for the tx650V2 SMPS which is newer than the tx650. This is better than the seasonic one but costs more

tx 650 v2 is really good. you can go ahead with it. remember a newer tx 650m is already in the market which is of inferior quality than that of the tx 650 v2.
