Will the LCD screen crack get worse

My LCD screen of desktop PC got a small crack after it got hit by a falling table fan near it. The crack is small kinda like a dot made with a sketch pen or small marker. Willl the crack get worse and damage the monitor if we continue to use it ?

If it is under warranty and get it RMAed or post a pic if possible.

I don't think physical damage from something "falling" over it covers under warranty.
But yea, a pic could be useful.

The alternating heating and cooling of the screen (due to normal usage-on/off) will eventually deteriorate the screen and lead to the crack further deforming. The rate of this depends upon whether it was the TFT part or the cover of the screen. In case of the latter, the effect -> 0.
