Hai,

I have the following RIG as specified in my Signature but lately I am not able to overclock and even if I overclock to 4.0GHz I cannot get past Prime95 as my RIG is freezing after I run Prime95 and I am also getting high temps even on stock settings while using Corsair H60 Cooler. So I am in a dilemma of whether to shift to Intel Z87 Chipset or downgrade to AMD FX 6300 + new Asus 8+2 power phase motherboard. So there are 2 options left with me which I will do next January,2014. I will reuse all other components which are in my Signature expect which I am specifying below...
I am thinking of getting these next January:

Option 1:-
AMD FX 6300 -7500,
Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 -12500,
APC 1100VA UPS -5500,
Corsair H60 2013 Edition Cooler -4500,
CM 120mm 2 RED LED fans -1200,
CM 140mm 2 RED LED fans -1400,
Belkin HDMI Cable -700,
Artic Silver 5 TIM -700.
TOTAL -34,000.

Option 2:-
Intel Core i5 4670k -16500,
Asus GRYPHON Z87 -14500,
APC 1100VA UPS -5500,
Corsair H60 2013 Edition Cooler -4500,
CM 120mm 2 RED LED fans -1200,
CM 140mm 2 RED LED fans -1400,
Belkin HDMI Cable -700,
Artic Silver 5 TIM -700.
TOTAL -45,000.

Please suggest which Option should I go next January keeping in view future upgradability like Steamroller in case of AMD & Broadwell in case of INTEL...

My problem is clearly specified in this thread of mine:*www.thinkdigit.com/forum/overclocking/178610-amd-fx-8320-corsair-h60-cooler-high-temperatures.html

if you plan on buying january 2014, then why created a thread new thread now?. prices will change considerably and new models will be released. just wait and create a new thread 2 weeks before buying. if you want to buy now, get the intel rig.
for broadwell, intel is likely to introduce a new processor lineup between haswell and broadwell known as "haswell refresh". no exact details though. And broadwell may be incompatible with haswell motherboards.

This is why i chose to go for the intel rig. Every one says that FX Chips can be easily overclocked but they forget that for doing it you need a very good and capable motherboards which are usually always 10,000 RS+

You want to trust me on this one bro.

In your option 1: CPU+MOBO+Cooler Cost = 24.5

In your option 2: CPU+MOBO+Cooler =35.5

Why don't you go for a CPU+MOBO+Cooler Combo which is:
1. Cheap
2.Good Performance
3. Less Power Consuming
4. Less heat
5. You will not regret when after 2 years you want to upgrade it

Get the i5-4570 + any B85 board + Stock cooler = 21k [Cheaper than your option 1 but with more performance , Cheaper than option 2 by a huge difference that isnt worth the increase in performance]

Another option for you is to just sell your current m5a97 and get the m5a99fx pro r2.0 which will let you overclock your 8320 to 4.2-4.5GHz easily hence problem solved?

I might go with these in fact to lower the cost:
Intel 1150 Config:

Intel Core i5 4570 -14500,
Asus B85M-G -6500,
APC 1100VA UPS -5600,
Corsair H60 2013 Edition -4800,
Coolermaster 120mm 2 RED LED fans -1200,
Coolermaster 140mm 2 RED LED fans -1400,
TOTAL -34,000.

Can I go with Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO with Push-Pull fan setup which do not obstruct my RAMS as I have only 4GBx2=8GB. If I go for another 4GBx2 in the future then what?
Is it future proof for another 4 years or should I go for AMD AM3+ as steamroller is destined to come to AM3+ itself. Please guide me in this regard...

AMD AM3+ Config:

AMD FX 6300 -8000, (In this case I think 6-core is more than enough)
Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 -11300,
APC 1100VA UPS -5600,
Corsair H60 2013 Edition -5000,
Coolermaster 120mm 2 RED LED fans -1200,
Coolermaster 140mm 2 RED LED fans -1400,
TOTAL -32,500.
