Sony Tipo Dual- Network problem

Recently i bought a Sony Tipo Dual Sim Android Phone. I had only one sim (airtel) in use at that time. Day before yesterday i bought a new sim (airtel), which took two days to get activated. Till these two days i could use my old sim for making calls and sms, but today as my new sim got activated i couldn't make calls or sms as i receive "not registered on network" message on my screen. Kindly help me out regarding this issue.

Hi everyone, i just took it my mobile store. They did a factory reset and tried but it didn't work, hence they checked with the sim card slot and found it to be defective, thus i had a replacement, as my mobile was covered under warranty. The thread can be closed
