1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:
To run a Virtual PC comprising of Microsoft Server R2 2008,Sharepoint 2010,SQL Server ,Visual Studio .

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 26-28k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows Server

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: Already have 3 TB of HD ,So I wont be needing one .

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: would like to have a basic LCD monitor .

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Optical drives , Hard disks , Keyboard and mouse are not needed .

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Once I get a strong opinion from this forum , I plan to buy it as soon as possible.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Assembler will be doing it .

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: I intend to buy it online . Say : Flipkart .

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Minimum 8 GB of RAM is required to run the above mentioned Virtual PC . So I will need ,say, 12 GB RAM and a good processor that can efficiently utilize the RAM . If there is any room left ,Please allocate 512-1 GB RAM (My cousin is a gamer) .

Thanks for that spec bro . I second thought .. I wont be needing Graphics card and UPS . Guess that will save around 6k .

Since i am opting out graphics card . Can i have an integrated graphics option ? (not a necessity)

How about i opt for G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 1600 MHz as I have large RAM intensive operations

Also plz suggest a 20 inch LCD monitor in 5k range

Buddy, only the older AMD 800 and 700 series chipset do come with IGP but they are cheaper counter part and not recommended to use with a Processor like FX-8350. If you don't wanna high end card then get a card like GT 610 1GB DDR3 @ 2.5K for display. In fact there is no harm to go with HD 5670 as if you subtract the UPS price, everything will come within your budget, including the Graphics card too.

Can i use G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 1600 MHz with M5A97 without overclocking ?

My suggestion:

CPU: AMD FX-8150 (11700)
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 (6800)
RAM: G.Skill RipjawsX 8 GB 1600 MHz x2 (6000)
GPU: Zotac GTX 610 (2500)
Monitor: Acer 16" LED (4000)
PSU: Corsair CX430v2 (2600)

Total: 33600,
if this is over the budget, go for single 1600 MHz 8 GB ram.

+1 for this.

^ CM k380 looks good and has front 120 mm LED fan too, and so does CM elite 431. Both can accommodate 4 fans, have side windows. Attaching extra fans always help, especially when running the rig for long duration.

CM elite 430 hlso has side window and front 120 mm fan and comes cheaper too.

Cable management is a nightmare.
Limited options for air intake. Only one slot at the front. Side is blocked if the gpu is to large. The bottom one is blocked slightly by the psu cables.

Buddy, when M5A97 EVO is available at 7K, why are you guys suggesting the normal M5A97, available around 6.7K. The 77 Evo doesn't just have the extra EVO word associated with it, it comes with better VRM (Voltage Regulation Module) design, higher build quality, more overclocking options and more advanced BIOS options than the normal M5A97 board.
