1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')

Ans:INTERNET BROWSING ,WATCHING HD MOVIES AND HD VIDEO ONLINE, WANT TO MAKE IT AT LEAST 5 YEARS UPGRADE FREE

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.

Ans:45000

3. Planning to overclock?

Ans: NO

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?

Ans:Win 7 Ultimate 64 Bit OR WINDOWS 8 PRO OR BASIC

5. How much hard drive space is needed?

Ans:1 TB HARD DRIVE

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.

Ans: yes . 1920x 1200/1080 24 inch plz suggests model and company make available in Mumbai between VA and IPS panel which is better for 10 feet viewing from different direction.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?

Ans:I personally dislike AMD and ATI products basically i have to build everything from scratch

8. When are you planning to buy the system?

Ans:1st week of Feb or before now it depends on yu folks.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?

Ans:I have a bit of idea about assembling but my vendor will assemble for me.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?

Ans:Mumbai .Planning to buy locally from lamington road plz suggest vendor name which is the best dealer here.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?

Ans: i will say after yur suggestion till then thanks in advance.

refer here > *www.thinkdigit.com/forum/pc-components-configurations/169301-pc-40k.html

Intel Core i5 3470 @ 11500
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H @ 4000
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) CL9 1600 MHz @ 3400
WD Green 1TB 64MB Cache @ 4200
DVD RW LG @ 800
iBall Cabinet + PSU @ 1500
21" FULl HD (Dell or BenQ) @ 10000
Local UPS @ 1400
Keyboard Mouse Microsoft Wireless Combo @ 1800
Microsoft / Logitec / iBall HD Web Cam @ 1000
Wireless ADSL Modem @ 2500

Total around Rs. 42k

Make few change to that config, a good 24" display would cost you few thousand more thus making the config costing Rs. 45k

:p

no fan required as no overclocking stock fans will do

also 600W crosair is good enough...

The configuration you have chosen is also good but I want to point out one thing: Intel is launcing their new gen Hashwell Processors in next couple of months which requires a complete new Socket type. So if you are buying this PC for long run, chance for upgrading your Processor is very low after 1 year or two. I am suggesting you an AMD based config:-

AMD FX 8350 (8 Core, 4 GHz with 4.2 GHz Turbo, 8 MB L2 + 8 MB L3 Cache) @ 11.8K
Asus M5A97 Motherboard @ 6.4K
G-Skill RipjawX 1600 MHz CL9 4GB X 2 @ 3.1K (Better than Corsair Vengeance)
SEAGATE 1TB BARRACUDA ST31000524AS 7200 RPM 64MB CACHE SATA 6.0GB/S 3.5'' INTERNAL HARD DRIVE @ 4.2K (Better than WD Green)
Power Color HD 5570 1GB DDR3 Graphics @ 3.4K

Got a very good combo, and also read the post of Clius above me regarding the same.

And ripjawsx modules are better than Vengeance.

No official launch date of haswell till now, and expect a late launch in India.

New products with substantial changes are never launched at low prices.Their prices will remain high for quite some time and I doubt they will fit in your budget.

Take the intel or better yet, take the amd setup. With the amd right now, longevity is guaranteed.
