internet connection... queries

I need internet connection on the move for my iPod Touch through the wireless mode where ever i move. I need this internet connection without any modem or router. I guess the technology to get this kind of internet connection would be Wi-Fi or Wi-Max. 3G is a technology only for mobiles i guess...

What are the possible options to get such a kind of internet connection in my Ipod Touch nationwwide or statewide or atleast citywide..??

I thnk thr is no such option atleast for ur iPod. Wi-Max is not implemented in India. Tat was ur one n only option. And u can get it by Wi-Fi within the range of ur router. And I dnt thnk iPod hav GPRS so tat option is also nt fr u. U r rite 3G is only for mobiles.

So if u want to use internet on d go thr is no such option rite @ ths moment.

Of course not available everywhere.

The 'Wherever' part - may not be possible as wireless internet is not available everywhere. You meant places near your home / office etc or like roaming ?

which ISP provider provides Wi-Max in india with pan-india roaming?

By 'Wherever' i mean atleast in common places around the cities ....

What are the other options other than Wi-max for internet in iPod Touchh?

I think Reliance and Tata provide Wi-max, but I am not sure about the roaming part. Please check their websites for more info.

Other options - I think only Wi-Fi.
