Buy Graphic card

Hi guys

I want to buy graphic card .. My motherboard is D946gzis and it has 256 mb video memory,diretx 9.c support,pixel shader 2.0 .. So I want better then this. while playing games I have problems so I want graphic card which have HW Transform & Lighting,vertex shader .. and I am going to use 3d Softwares like Maya and max SO need graphic card which work perfectly for all my requirements.

Price :- as cheap as possible but all Features and with great performance.

Suggestion can be given according to your display.

I assume you are most probably with 17" CRT. In that case you can go with Palit GF9500GT 256MB DDR3 @3.3K.

For accurate reply please tell your display and budget too.

yes My display is Samsung 17" CRT .....How did you guess ?

Price :- I want it cheap but all features .If say all features come in 5000 (no cheaper possible) .. I will go for it. But guess I can get it near 3000.

and also y does display matter as per my requirements, graphic card will also support Hd output too.

and is 256 MB enough... will my currently running Onboard video will work good with 3D softwares

I'll suggest 9500GT frm XFX........it costs me 4500/- here in kolkata. I bought it recently and I must say I got a gr8 value for money....!!

get HD4670 for 4.3k..this is the best u can get within 5k budget.

+1 for HD4670, ur mobo does not has 256MB video memory, 256MB is the RAM it can utlize from your system. 9500GT is nothing infront of HD4670, which even competes with 9600GT.

Also there is 9600GT GSO within 5K

Gut feeling actually by going your MOBO your system should be good three years or more old so in those times 17" CRTs were mainstream and LCDs were not very practical due to higher prices and LCD technology was not at its peak as well.

Now main thing yes if you can stretch your budget up to 5K go ahead and get a Saphire HD4670 512 DDR3 @4.5K best VFM. But if you asking for bear minimum then Palit GF9500GT 256MB DDR3 @3.3K will do.

I think xfx 9600 gt will b g8t and just 5.5k its vfm also but anyways hd 4670 is same as this...'

Palit 9600GT is available for 4.7k in IT Wares, vfm and better than HD4670...but will need a gud PSU, at least a Corsair CX400.
