No..still promoting 920..no ads for 5,6,7

I hate it when companies makes silly mistakes like that. The number of people in a country like India that can buy a 920 vs 520 is like 1:10000. They should make ads for attracting college students.

I think Nokia rather wants to sell Asha phones marketing them as smartphones.

Nokia should be in a dilemma of whether to promote Low-range WP(here L520) or not..
Coz, if it does - the sub-10k-Asha will receive a heavy damage because of L520.

True but Nokia is betting big on Lumia series to bring them up...seems more logical to promote these than the Asha ones...

Nokia should advertise on the "Lumia"s generally.
If it focuses of L520, no one will buy L510..

Nokia might be releasing a qwerty Windows Phone device. Check allthingsd website for more details. I am on phone so can't post link right now.

but the WP8 ecosystem doesnt grow as fast as android :(..

True. But maybe it doesnt need to. I like it the way things are right now. I like the way things are moving right now. To dismiss off the marketplace as having "less apps" is not the most accurte reflection of the situation. There are some *beautiful* apps here right now and more are coming. I havent had any apps that I miss. I used to really like pulse : found more likeable replacements in FUSE and Collector, the only things I see glaringly missing are Instagram (which is coming) and some games.

I, for one, see a different strategy here, which is not much unlike the one Samsung has had great success in - building a brand. They are probably hoping to sell of the Lumia devices under the aura created by the mighty 920. Which isnt a bad thing at all. I have the 920 and I can tell you, the number of times total strangers have asked me about the phone is way too damn high. Its a conversation starter.

What The.... !!!
The only thing that's holding me back from buying the Lumia 520 is lack of Free games
i could play a paid game for free in Android and possibly do much more.

You say tomAto, i say Tomato.
no need to look down from a high horse.

Be it tomAto or Tomato; It refers to the same thing. MS prevents sideloading of apps to stop piracy. And you are not considering a WP8 device just because it doesn't allow piracy. You're a typical Indian, buddy. (JK)

I take a part of your milk (kept outside the door by the delivery-boy) every morning, because I can. How pleased would you be ?

I havent bought a single app for my phone, but neither have I been tempted to pirate.
Nobody justifies piracy. Seriously, those games dont code for themselves, have some respect for the guy who wrote it.
