yeah z2 is risky,the overheating issue and self cracking issue are shocking,i myself wasnt aware of it for a long time till people pointed it out last week in the forums

What made you choose the M8 over Moto?

maybe because moto lacks an sd card slot and poor battery life or something i guess
cant be camera because M8 camera resolution is low though it is not bad per say

What made you choose the M8 over Moto?

9.7 GB is way to less once you start using 4K vidoe recording. Plus mediocre battery life and low built quality once you start comparing it with M8.
I always prefer metal built quality since it always feel nice in hand and not to forget gunmetal looks super sexy in y views.

You can't tell that m8 has better build quality than moto x. Aluminum can be bent if you applied some enough force. Which is not the case with moto.

M8 obviously, its in its own class.
moto x may be a a good phone.
But its m8 that will delight you and also turn heads. Its looks how a high end phone should like like.

this decision is not based on max performance, better camera etc.
but sheer elegance of m8 and its beautiful UI blows all android phones out of the water.

with m8 you can always flash the latest cyanogen mod too.

you can drop it daily and it will still work.
i have dropped my htc metal phone from my bike and it still lives.

Great choice! Was going to suggest M8 as well. It looks and feels like a truly high end phone. It will turn heads like no other. Speakers and UI is amazing too. People knock its camera down but its easily good enough if you don't want pro level photos or too much zooming. IMO its amazing in low light/darkness specially for parties and such. Much better than its competitors.

Z2 has quite a few issues but Z3 seems to have resolved most (?) and has v.good feel and looks, apart from its great battery and amazing waterproofing.

MotoX is great but not a true high end. Build/look & feel plus the camera are not good enough IMO. Battery is not that great & neither is the storage space. Very meh unless you love the voice features.

you havent understood the aluminium bending problem i think
the M8 and other phones have an aluminium body with a magnesium frame inside the phone which is why they are sturdy and dont bend
iphone is slimmer,lighter and lacks the aluminium framework inside,which is a shame because even the xiaomi Mi3 (13k) has a magnesium frame which a 69k iphone 6 lacks
