Youtube format

we are trying to upload music video ..(legal) to youtube....
it is 45mb now

is it better to upload the originl movie or compress it using some soft and upload
if compress which software should we use so that there is no codec problems later

we want video to be in good quality but as less size as possible

which bit rate is good
and finally
should we make the flv and upload or youtube manages it...

Youtube by itself manages it,just upload it..it will be available for viewing in bout 12hrs of uploading.

just upload ur original video file....youtube has its own convertor..
